Dinalet stands for Direct Nasal Let in. It is a newly developed system for the treatment of the sleep apnoea syndrome. Sleep apnoea is a stoppage of breath during sleep. It occurs when the relaxed muscles become sloppy and block the respiratory tract partially or completely. The Dinalet unit will be applied directly into the nose and creates through a small ventilator a positive airway pressure, which helps to prevent the collapse of the respiratory tract.
